You know what? Administration is BURIED on Explosives story. HORRIBLE |
|
they probably lost 3 polling points just on the last few days of that. Even if you give people of this country NO CREDIT...they might climb to about a point away from where they were.
All in all, we net out that Bush is losing momentum after last week of news.

...this is Rove's specialty.
Put out some bad news that will steal the headlines from the worse news. Rove's favorite ploy.

vs. KABLOOIIEEE!!
voters being reminded Bush' arch enemy is still alive to fight another day despite Bush saying he's winning the war on terror.
vs.
clearly mishandling the whole planning of invading and then SECURING THE COUNTRY of Iraq. Who knows how many OTHER unknown tons of dangerous sh!t is flying around the black market because Bush and Rummy wanted to set the invasion land speed record and hurry up for the Saddam Statue photo op?
It's bad news all the way around for Bush. We need to keep the talking points going on ALL of these scandals.

6. all the Bushbots already look defeated. |

DiRita was sweating and looked scared during the press conference this morning. And he's the best they've got right now. Giuliani stuck his foot right in his mouth and blamed the troops while Bush is on the stump saying it's Kerry that denigrates our servicemen. Ken Mehlman is on autopilot.
I keep thinking of that remark of Shrub's about having his boot on Kerry's throat. Except in reverse. And Kerry is in an Uncle Sam costume. And he is being very gentle but commanding with the little snake while he has him trapped. "No, no," he says, "we really can't allow that sort of thing in America, you know..."
BTW, "boot on his throat..." What a charming turn of phrase! He really did bring dignity back to the WH, huh?
