We are leading in Iowa early voting
Gov. Tom Vilsack of Iowa was on Randi Rhodes' show this afternoon and said that about 400,000 out of 1.4 million registered voters have already voted in Iowa. He said it looks like Kerry already has a 50,000 to 60,000 vote lead, which means Bush has to make up a lot of ground on Tuesday.

1. Can someone answer how knowing these results is good?
Isn't this basically saying "hey Republicans, you're down, get out your vote?"

2. Or he's saying
forget about it. We're winning the state. You can do nothing about it.

Either way, it will be important to make sure Dems still get their asses to the polls. It will be close regardless.

6. I'm not sure people realize...
how massive and well-funded our GOTV effort is. ACT has 45,000 paid canvassers in swing states. Over $100 million has been raised for GOTV efforts. This does not make me complacent, it makes me want to do my part even more.

11. Doesn't Add Up
I thought that there were more like 2.5 million registered voters in Iowa.
