I got to give the media some credit tonight
Edited on Fri Oct-29-04 07:46 PM by demdem
Other than Matthews who like after all the debates was once again the outlier. Even Paula Zahn was pointing out that this is a wash for both candidates. Ron Brownstein after losing his mind on Lou Dobb's tonight saying this benefits Bush came back on Zahn's show and now say's the story is a wash. Hell, even Howard "the duck" Fineman said this works both way's. My guess is both campaigns will just move on to another subject.

2. neither will want to touch it.... too hard to tell how it falls....
I think it helps Kerry, but I think it makes both sides queasy. And I appreciate your comment on the media -- there is too much media bashing here.

6. If I were Kerry, I would drive this
right up Bush's ass all the way to Tuesday.

I would say, when I am president, Osama Bin Laden won't be on television making videos of how proud he is of his successes. He will be either dead or behind bars!

It is an outrage that the mastermind of the worst attack on our soil three years later can appear on television alive and well! Had the president done his job and used the force necessary to capture or destroy him instead of diverting all our military resources to Iraq, neither Osama Bin Laden or al Quida would be in the powerful position they are today. But because of George Bush failing to focus solely on the enemy, he made it possible for this despicable terrorist leader to be on our televisions today."

Elect me president and I promise you Osama Bin Laden will be my highest military priority until he is found, captured and destroyed!!!

5. If killing or capturing Osama is a plus for Bush, the opposite is a minus.
