The author of "America's Right Turn" is on NOW w/Bill Moyers |
|
and he seems to be one of the old-fashioned type conservatives.
So get this, he griped about privatizing SS, he griped about the horrible deficit, griped about *'s out of control spending, griped about the war in Iraq, bitched about the neocons and the religious right, then said he is voting for bush and supporting him. WTF?
I would have respect for true moderate conservatives if they DON'T vote for bush. Why would they? One of his biggest points was, no matter what the result of this election, * OR Kerry, there will begin a war in the republican party on Wednesday morning. WOW.
Bill Moyers asking fantastic questions. "Why do conservatives and the republican party act like such victims?"
He dodged it.
I'm up for watching an all-out war in the repuke party. The few people in that party with more than seven brain cells to rub together and a heart beating in their chest need to take back control of their freaking party. It's like Frankenstein's monster, running amuck.

1. re: your last paragraph.... |

Yes, sensible Republicans have got a lot of 'splainin to do as to how they let their party get hi-jacked by the Neocons.
To be fair, a lot of them have spoken out, but they need to do more. They need to actively get these people out of power in the GOP.
