Has bushco succeeded at making gay marriage a strong wedge issue? |
|
With everything that has happened with gay rights this year from bush*s State of the Union, to Massachusetts and SF, NY, OR and other places that moved toward gay marriage, to the failed vote in the House to get the amendment off the ground...my question is, will it have a measureable effect on the outcome of the election.
Or more specifically, will the dozen or so states that have a measure on their ballots next Tuesday draw additional voted from Kerry as a result?
Will voters who ordinarily have given bush* their vote, do so on this single issue? Or will they separate the two?
From my perspective, what looked to be a defining wedge, has kind of fizzled. Buy I am looking at the issue through rainbow glasses.
Chime in.

2. Whatever the Pubs intent on this, Bush fucked it up... |
|
by coming out in favor of civil unions. Or at least paying lip service to it.
