Who Will Stand By Kerry AFTER He Is Elected?
After John Kerry is Inaugurated, you KNOW the Media will look for the first little thing to hound him.

There will be no real "Honeymoon".

And when Bush, Rove and Rumsfeld and all the rest are indicted or investigated, or whatever.... it's hard to imagine much of the Corporate Media doing little more than the obligatory mentions.

No, I think the Corporate Media will sharpen its knives almost immediately and do their best to weaken Kerry for '08.

There may be some here who are not enthused about the prospect of voting for Kerry. But despite my initial reservation- I am now personally an enthusiastic supporter.

And I am ready to fight like hell to help him move this country forward and to get Legislation passed.

4. The corporate nedia is going down the tubes. They are out of touch.
Check out earlier post on Clear Channel's stock plummet. The new media is alive and will soon be predominant.

15. Amen. People are getting the message
I'm always forwarding stories from alternative media sites to my friends and family. Even the UK's Guardian and Independent are more trustworthy than the NYT and the WP. Alternative media live up to the obligation of a free press far better than the overbloated, tunnel-visioned, groupthinked corporate media, which are more concerned with employment contracts, expense accounts, and wardrobe allowances than with getting out on a limb and reporting the truth wherever that may lead. Corruption in the government shames and hurts us, but corruption in the press will destroy us.

5. That depends
If he lets something like the Telecommunications Act happen on his watch, then, no, he won't be getting my support.
I'm expecting him to HOLD THE LINE. I'm not expecting earth-shattering progressive changes but I DO expect him to stick his finger in the dike, while the rest of us work to repair it.

7. I'm more concerned about the rethugs....
You just know they're going to go after President Kerry like they did to Clinton. It then becomes DU's role to watch his back. It'll be interesting ... I imagine the whole purpose of this site will shift from getting Dubya out and our guy in, to fending off the inevitable attacks and lies. Not quite so desperate a battle as our current one, but an important role none the less....

9. I agree.
I will be working to have Kerry's back.

I will also be working on the Dem party in TX, more so after Kerry is elected, because then I can concentrate on that more.

10. The length of the honeymoon will be in direct proportion to how big
of a LANDSLIDE by which Kerry wins.

- that is all -

11. Kerry's #2 priority should be reforming the 1996 telecom act...

...and its evil corrollary spawn. The FCC needs a serious smackdown.

#1, of course, is securing loose nukes and catching terrorists.

12. Welll
That's why they call us an 'underground.' We just keep simmering below the surface, watching every move and making sure we pull the right strings.

I will continue my efforts to convince those I know that John Kerry is a great man and that the news media is corrupt.

14. WOLVES!!!
There is a lot of money at stake here.
As soon as he starts talking about closing corporate tax loopholes and evening the playing field for people like us, they will attack him.

The money that is at risk here is astronomical and there is no way that these people who stand to lose are going to tolerate anyone ending their party early.

They will savage him like a pack of wild dogs pouncing on a small child.

It's going to make what they did to Bubba look like a prayer meeting.

And when people start getting exposed and indicted?

JK...watch your back big guy.

Oh...and they will absolutely KILL Teresa.
