Osama is gonna just destroy Bush
Despite what the idiots on Fox News say, this does NOT help Bush. It hurts him. This is his nemesis, who was rumored to have died, been killed, rendered harmless, de-fanged...whatever. Here he comes fresh from the grave to taunt our idiot President and our country.

I gotta go with my gut feeling when I saw it today, and it was disgust at Bush that here is the murder of 3000 Americans making fun of our leader (disgusting as he is) and mocking us so freely. This does not help Bush at all. I felt my stomach drop when I saw this pig on television.

The only reason OBL is around to threaten us is becaue Bush failed.

Remember the pundits crowed how the Madrid bombings would score big for the pro-Bush Spain government. That didn't happen no did it.

3. Why?
Why wait until friday afternoon, after Bush has been getting seriously hammered all week, to release a video that is entirely ambiguous in who gains and who is hurt?

14. it smells of a stealth campaign.
especially w/ the state dept. trying to suppress the video and that it was edited down for the US "release" (kinda sick eh?)

2. OBL knows he's dead, regardless. He's laughing at the incompetent retard*
and nothing more.

So much the better. OBL was *'s claim to fame.

And OBL is *'s waterloo.

4. I just want President Kerry to put both of them away
I'm sick of Bush* and I'm sick of Bin Laden, and I hope Kerry puts them both behind bars.

5. Osama said the Arabic version of "BUSH IS A PUSSY!"
He totally punked our lame-ass pResident. And that, dear readers, is why the State Department tried to talk Al Jazeera out of showing the tape.

7. No
He did not jsut punk Bush, he punked us ALL tonight. Basically mocked us, said our President was a little fool who could not protect the American people and that we were stupid to follow him and would pay if we did. He mocked us, and THAT should be the freakin talking point to come out of this. Osama Bin Laden is NOT AFRAID of BUSH!!!

10. I'll buy that.
But if Osama punked all of us and not just Bush, it's abundantly obvious that Bush isn't the guy to do anything about it. That's the other point.

12. I disagree---Osama didn't do Bush the favor
of challenging him. He dissed and dismissed him.

11. But Holmes finally caught Moriarty.
I knew Sherlock Holmes. Sherlock Holmes was a friend of mine. pResident Bush, you're no Sherlock Holmes.

8. Really?
I had absolutely no reaction to his rantings at all. His rantings don't mean any more than Bush's rantings do, they're both intended to manipulate and that's all. I do think they're going to end up being used against the left, any time someone says I/P peace talks, the right is going to call them a terrorist appeaser, for example. But anyway, he doesn't bother me any more than the possibility of attack by any other lunatic terrorist here at home. Go after them all, absolutely, but I really have no emotion about him. In fact, in thinking about it, I really am less worried about Osama than Bush.

9. I hear you.
I agree that this will hurt Bush. You know what I remember right now? "I am going to hunt down the terrorists wherever they are, and I will capture or kill them." I almost cringed when I heard Kerry say that for the first time, but I hope to hell he does! That one sentence Kerry has been repeating is going to reverberate with many Americans in the next couple of days. There's no fear in it. He's not trying to scare Americans. He is showing resolve and I believe this man WILL do exactly what he says he will.

13. It will remind Americans that OBL is still around, apparently healthy,
and feeling safe enough to fire off nasty-grams to us. How does that help bushco?

No matter how they try to spin it, the fact remains that chimpy FAILED to catch OBL. He FAILED to stop al Quaida. Chimpy is a FAILURE.

17. Seems whoever made the tape accomplished it's purpose and that is
to KEEP the fear going, so who benefits from this fear and has no message of hope, so now you know who provided the tape.
