Bushies splatter chicken blood, guts across front door of Kerry supporters

Just days before Halloween, Ira Chaleff awoke to a gruesome scene of chicken blood and parts splattered across his front door.
But, rather than a Halloween prank, the incident had more to do with what happens two days later -- the national election.
In addition to the animal guts left in the yard, political signs were stolen from the Kensington resident -- the second time in as many weeks.
After signs supporting John Kerry, U.S. Sen. Barbara Mikulski (D) of Baltimore and U.S. Rep. Christopher Van Hollen Jr. (D-Dist. 8) of Kensington were all taken, Chaleff's wife, Carolyn Roth, made her own sign reading, "In 2000 they stole the election. Now they stole my Kerry sign."
