I finally picked up this paper from last week, and found a LTTE that just made me smile:

To the editor:

This is an open letter to the person who stole my John Kerry sign out of my front yard.

It's frightening, but not surprising, that Bush supporters would go to such lengths to suppress my right to free speech. And on the same day that the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights publicly assails the Bush Administration record on civil rights.

Tomorrow, I'll not only pick up some new signs, I'll also make a donation of $100 to John Kerry's campaign--in the name of the "anonymous Republican who took my John Kerry sign."

Go ahead--take it again.

Every time you take it, I'll make another donation.

Just think of it as your contribution to John Kerry's election campaign.

3. I just found out that the campaign literature we're distributing this

weekend was paid for from the proceeds from Kerry signs, etc., at our county Demo. HQ.

Whenever a sign was stolen, more money was raised for GOTV efforts. So HA HA on you, Repugs!
