"I'm here to pump you up" said Arnold
I swear to God, it says here Arnold said that at the Bush rally tonight:

snip>
"President Bush knows you can't reason with people that are blinded by hate," Schwarzenegger told thousands of raucous Bush backers at a rally in this crucial electoral state.

"But let me tell you something: Their hate is no match for our decency, their hate is no match for America's decency, and it is no match for the leadership and the resolve of George W. Bush."

In his lone campaign appearance with Bush, the governor told raucous Republicans: "I'm here to pump you up to re-elect President George W. Bush."

He's a frickin' poet, this guy is. He also told them the most important reason he's there is for the "Arnold's Classic".

2. What's sad is that it's not even his own catchphrase.
It's from the Hans and Frans bits that Dana Carvey and Kevin Nealon used to do on SNL. Actually, so is the Girlie-Men bit. He could at least cheesily insert his OWN material into his political speeches.

7. hahaha--and what does Arnie do to entertain
I laughed when I heard Bush was going to drag him around. Unlike Bruce, what does Arnie do---does he dance?? does he sing?? But here 's the bottom line. In general, seeing a "star" in person is a great letdown because they are not the bigger than life we see them in movies or tv. But for someone like Arnold it's even worse. Here is an action figure who in real life is a old fart (like me) with dyed hair and looking old and semi-mummified. That is not a turn on. It's like if one of you young people saw one of your rap "stars' and he was like 42 years old. Bush's base will cheer; but it sure doesn't turn on others.

10. Well, he got one thing right
You can't reason with people blinded by hate.
Hate is something they're extremely familiar with. Their whole lives are based around it after all.
