Just got through talking to my mother in law from TEXAS and she said she is voting for Bush because Teresa Heinz Kerry is too outspoken for a women in the "1st Lady" position (this coming from a woman who is EXTREMELY outspoken and oh, they are middle class, low income family SUFFERING under Bush's policies.:grr: I let her have it and watched my spouse sink to my voice ... Bush's "uniter not divider" policies... God I hate this administration:mad:

1. I would have told her if that's how she feels, fine, she'll never see me |
|
again.
If my wife objected, I'd file for divorce.

to vote against your own best interests. The President's wife wasn't made in the Stepford lab.
Oh well, hang in there - at least you aren't married to her. ;)

4. Choose your battles wisely.... |

I don't know if it's really worth it to argue with someone who in the long run is going to vote for Bush in a state that will undoubtably go to Bush anyway.

Americans ever.
She's been dead for 42 years, since I was a child, and my admiration for her only grows.

I know someone, a senior, who only knew THK through our SCLM filter and felt rather the same way. Just a "feeling." Well, this woman saw THK on "The View" not long ago. Her reaction? "What a CHARMING woman! Oh! I would love to sit down with her and just talk and talk. She is SO interesting!" No lie! THK sells herself. We just need to get rid of the SCLM. Your mother-in-law may come around in the next 8 years of the Kerry admin., provided we filter out the filter. ;)

We just need to get the SCLM out of the way. FAR out of the way. Not just because of this topic, but all of the others, as well. I am so tired of listening to corporate opinions spouted by talking heads. **sigh**

what a STUPID poll! I have live in the south ALL my life and know how the "stepford wife" thinks, but those days are GONE. It's hard for most men, but if they would accept that and work with things in a new light, then maybe they would "get some" more often.
