When the tape surfaced I thought Bush would get a boost, primarily terrorist fear among married women. But when I sampled opinion tonight by calling the people who attended my debate watching parties, they didn't seem to care, even the ones who support Bush.

Then it hit me: opinion of Bush IS locked in, high and low. I wrote the missing weapons issue wouldn't hurt him, so why should Osama Bin Laden's reappearance help him?

does it occur to anyone else that it is all a bit convenient that JUST AFTER a major 9/11 RICO lawsuit was filed with the New York attorney general he confesses? Not to mention that it's right before the election. And I think it is just "disinformation" that the White House asked it not be released. If they didn't want it released, it would not have been. One thing is, he didn't look like OBL to me, although I don't see too much of the guy, but something about the nose didn't look right to me. PLUS, I found it odd that this tape was confirmed to be him right away. Why is it that before when a tape came out it took days to figure out if it was real or not. Who knows... I am beginning to be a really cynical person about everything so it could just be me.

I have a gut feeling that this is NOT going to hurt Kerry at all. I feel like if anything it will boost him. Heck even Paula Zahn said it was bad news for bush this evening.
