Question on "missing" ballots in Broward
Heard that 16,000 are supposed to reach voters on Saturday. How the hell can they get them there on time. If you mail them on Monday, can they arrive Tuesday? Can you bring them into a polling place?

2. Supposedly they are overnighting them.
They can be overnighted right back and get there in time.

3. Report From Broward...
Talked to a friend tonight. Supposedly these balots will be overnighted by tomorrow...yes Saturday special delivery, and the PO in Ft. Lauderdale and other places have been instructed to actually ring door bells and hand deliver as many of these ballots as possible. Then, once done, they can either have these ballots picked up on Monday or take them to a polling place or their local Post Office where they'll be forwarded to the Board Of Elections.

There are lawyers swarming all over this right now as well as concerns about voter intimidation in some areas (ugly Bushbots scaring grandma away from the polls) and they're getting a lot of cooperation. Eyes are watching.

Supposedly the voting has been heavy throughout the week with big delays at many polling places as there haven't been enough Repugnican poll judges and that's held up Democrats from voting...but my friend says he thinks we'll see record voting levels in the three southern Florida counties that could swarm the rest of the state.
