Stupid freepers care about one thing only.
Freepers put Party/Candidate above what is best for America. I have always wondered why. Recently I attempted to research their type of behavior.

The following are excerpts from my research. Please add your thoughts.

They are nationalists placing their group or unit beyond good and evil and recognizing no other duty than that of advancing its interests. No nationalist ever thinks, talks, or writes about anything except the superiority of his own power unit.

It is difficult if not impossible for any nationalist to conceal his allegiance. The smallest slur upon his own unit, or any implied praise of a rival organization, fills him with uneasiness which he can relieve only by making some sharp retort. It makes it possible for him/her to be more vulgar, more silly, more malignant, more dishonest.

Actions are held to be good or bad, not on their own merits, but according to who does them, and there is almost no kind of outrage -- torture, imprisonment without trial, forgery, lies, deceit, the bombing of civilians -- which does not change its moral color when it is committed by "our" side.

The nationalist not only does not disapprove of atrocities committed by his own side, but he has a remarkable capacity for not even hearing about them or denying that they ever occurred.

A known fact may be so unbearable that it is habitually pushed aside and not allowed to enter into logical processes, or on the other hand it may enter into every calculation and yet never be admitted as a fact, even in one's own mind.

They have an indifference to objective truth. One prod to the nerve of nationalism, and the intellectual decencies can vanish and the plainest facts can be denied. Most facts are grossly obvious if one's emotions do not happen to be involved: but to the nationalist they are intolerable, and so they have to be denied, and false theories constructed upon their denial.

The point is that as soon as fear, hatred, jealousy and power worship are involved, the sense of reality becomes unhinged. And the sense of right and wrong becomes unhinged also.

There is no crime, absolutely none, that cannot be condoned when "our" side commits it. Even if one does not deny that the crime has happened, even if one knows that it is exactly the same crime as one has condemned in some other case, even if one admits in an intellectual sense that it is unjustified -- still one cannot feel that it is wrong. Loyalty is involved, and so pity ceases to function.

No difference whatsoever between the brownshirts now, and the Hitler brownshirts then.

2. Freepers care ONLY about themselves
Their party is just a means to that end.

3. What end would that be?
They gain nothing personally other than the satisfaction that their chose goup (Party) has been successful.

Again, that just supports the theory that they care more about the Party/Themselves more than they do our nation.

That is sick!

5. The republican party is the party of self interest
Look at what they do and want.

Ban gay marriages and unions- becaue they are not gay and they don't want rights for people different then themselves.

they are borrow and spend politicians- because they don't care what kind of debt they leave their children and grand children as long as they get what they want.

Hate the UN- They only care about their country. They would gladly kill whole countries if they thought it would benefit them in some way.

Force their religion into the schools- They want to force their religion on everyone.

Forced birthings- Republicans love to force their religious beliefs on others.

7. Freepers care only about hate. It is what they live for.
They hate everything and everyone which is in any significant way different from themselves. Reich wing politicians and pundits validate their hate which allows them to avoid hating themselves. Their hatred is a pathology. Their nationalism is a symptom of the pathology as are their party loyalty and rationalization of evil.

church supports the destruction of America. So, what he may be trying to do is to brainwash enough folks into becoming lemmings in order to take this country off the cliff. Rev. Moon is a smart and devious man who has, from what I understand, openly said that he despises America.

10. I hate to say this but...
I believe that Freepers do care what happens to this country. they have very a narrow intellitual capacity to look at an issue in other than black and white. Thus in their narrow view, tax cuts are good (well, it is money in my pocket, that cannot be wrong!), stem cell research is wrong (Well, you need a fertilized egg for stem cell, that is killing a baby), drill for oil in alaska (foreign dependence bad this is how to end it).
