Bush has already stated that he isn't that worried about OBL anymore, so why should America think he will hunt him down aggressively?

12. When is Bush supposed to start hunting Osama? after a 2nd attack?
Didn't this swaggering he-man from Crawford smirk into the TV cameras and declare Osama would be smoked out of any cave he slithered into?

When will the media call Bush the complete incompetent fuck-up that he is?

34. Please Use Comments Section of MSNBC Poll to Get Our Views Out
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3080261 /

Please go to the comments section of the MSNBC poll and make sure our perspective on Bush and his non-concern with OBL are in front of the news media.

17. done- and sent them this comment:
The know-it-all pundits are underestimating the anger people are feeling to see that after 3 1/2 years, a hideous Iraq quagmire in the name of defeating terrorism, and countless deaths and disfigurements, Bin Laden is free as a bird, mocking our country on video. I think that people's visceral reaction will be ANGER that this guy is running free, barely mentioned by Bush and his cohorts. The media pundits are bloodless in their abstracted view of the effect on Americans viewing this tape. We are ANGRY that Bush is spending 1 billion dollars a week in Iraq and we have not harnessed ALL of our resources to capture the perpetrator of our national tragedy. case closed. the pundits will be very surprised.

21. Only Demos voting?
looks like only Demos are voting, deconstruct this:

Missing Explosives: Is it "a growing scandal" (Sen. Kerry) or just "wild charges" (Pres. Bush)?

Growing scandal 71%
Wild charges 29%

why do Demos like MSNBC? they are more to the Right than CNN

31. Use the feedback form to frame the OBL tape dialog
I voted 'Kerry' and then wrote the following in the "Tell us what you think about the question of the day":

"President Bush said on 3/12/02 of Bin Laden, "I don't know where he is. I -- I'll repeat what I said. I truly am not that concerned about him". President Bush followed through on that statement with non-action on Bin Laden. Instead he got on with his pre-9/11 agenda to invade Iraq. Bin Laden is still free to plan and make treats against the United States. We are not safer. If President Bush had made Bin Laden a priority, if he had been more concerned with him, Bin Laden might be dead or in captivity today. Bush failed on the most fundamental obligation to protect the American people."

We need to get our perspective on OBL's continued freedom and Bush's publicly stated lack of concern out in front of the news media.

wierd...other folks here say 81% ? How did points go down?

anyway, here's my comment in the box:

Silly question. Similar to cover of a national magazine this past summer which asked which one will mend our divided nation.

Hasn't anyone heard of this axiom: Judge a person's actions, not their words? Bush is the one who caused the divide in the first place!

Chimp has had three years to "smoke him out" and lost interest because he had to scratch the PNAC itch and invade Iraq. Colossal blunder for which he deserves to be retired to Crawford so he can pursue his real goals in life - drinking his liver away and digging for bugs on the pig farm.

44. Bin Laden is the best thing that ever happened to Chimp
His approval ratings were in the tank before 9/11.

Since then, all he has to do is say "terra" and "9/11" and his approval ratings lift.

Where would he be without Bin Laden?

45. left this comment:
George bu$h has THREE YEARS to hunt and capture bin Laden. bu$h is to blame for the FACT the bin Laden is still able to make mocking videos and have them aired on TV. bu$h FAILED - again - to protect this country. Sadaam is in jail - but binLaden is on TV. WHAT DO YOU SUPPOSE is wrong with that picture? WHO was responsible for 9-11? WHY are we in Iraq? bu$h HAD his chance and he FAILED. He FAILED to get bin Laden at Tora Bora, as Kerry said, he outsourced the job to Afghanistan warlords. His own intelligence even ADMITTED it was a huge error. Kerry was RIGHT. Dubya is WRONG. WRONG President, WRONGE place, WRONG time. WRONG WRONG WRONG - and a failure to boot. I do not feel safe with a President who is so easily outsmarted (and subsequently mocked) by a simple-minded terrorist like bin Laden. It's despicable, and bu$h and his incompetence is an embarassment to this country.
