How are you celebrating Kerry's win? Here is what OKC is doing.
Okies for Kerry - KerryOkie


When: Tuesday November 2, 2004 6:30 pm until Kerry is declared winner (or 2:00 am, whichever comes first)

Where: Plaza Hotel 4245 Lincoln Boulevard (just North of the Capitol Complex and the Democratic Party HQ) Oklahoma City.

Who: Democrats, Progressives and Reformed Republicans

Why: To Watch as John Kerry Becomes the 44th President of the United States

Come and join the best political party in Oklahoma...The Karaoke Party. There will be TV's to monitor election results, a cash bar to celebrate, snacks, singing, Bush Joke Contest and general merriment and a celebration of our freedoms as Americans.

1. My family and I are going to my best friend's house for an election
party. Just my husband, kids, best friend, her partner, their kids, and me. We are going to have three TVs set up with different channels going, plus Air America streaming on the Internet. We're getting food from the local rib shack. We saved some fireworks from the 4th of July that we plan to set off as soon as Kerry is announced the winner. We've been trying to find a George W. Bush pinata - I may have to just make a huge W one to smash.

2. I'd love to go , but I live in the UK .
It's a pity that I don't know of any election parties over here , as I'd be there , even though we are five hours ahead .
