Forget any CNN analysis. They are Bush partisans. Bush partisans and Kerry partisans can't judge this.

Here's the neo-con Republican spin (courtesy of David Brooks, whom I refues to link)
" What we saw last night was revolting. I suspect that more than anything else, he reminded everyone of the moral indignation we all felt on and after Sept. 11.

Here was this monster who killed 3,000 of our fellows showing up on our TV screens, trying to insert himself into our election, trying to lecture us on who is lying and who is telling the truth. Here was this villain traipsing through his own propaganda spiel with copycat Michael Moore rhetoric about George Bush in the schoolroom, and Jeb Bush and the 2000 Florida election."

But the Democratic spin is:
OBL is still alive
Even OBL knows how incompetent Bush is.

But undecideds or swing voters? I have no idea what they will get out of this. As they are standing in the voting booth, I suspect before pushing through the Bush chad, they will say, "Bush fucked up Iraq and OBL is still free".

1. The undecided are not going to decide this election for us.

4. True.
Getting out the vote will decide this election.

2. The undecideds are either...
1) logical, or
2) irrational/uninformed

The logical ones will see the truth, ie, our vision. The irrational/uninformed ones could never be swayed anyway.

This tape will not affect the outcome of the election, IMO.

3. undecideds are actually decided
They've decided to play the fence until the moment they enter the booth. At that point usually they flip the lever for the challenger. If the mythical truly undecided person does in fact exist, then that person has missed four years of news cycles and probably missed this one too. ;)

5. contrary to what the media wants you to believe
I think the so called undecided voter is smaller then flea shit. At a minimum they know who they will be voting for but aren't so fixed in their decision that something unexpected could change there minds.

I think Kerry and his people should hit shrub over the head with the fact Bin Laden was able to send out this video because shrub failed at finding him even after saying "dead or alive". This is why shrub and Rove wanted Qatar to hold back on the video release and why shrub looked shaken up on the airport tarmac making his statement on it.
