So I woke up this morning sorta understanding what OBL was saying

forgive me for beating a deadhorse, but i've been quite puzzled and conflicted by his statements.

#1 - I don't believe the release had anythign to do with Bushco. It's obvious listening to what OBL is saying that he is following the media here with great interest. It's not a stretch to think he'd show up on his own prior to a momentous election where he's been the centerpiece.

#2 - I see absolutely NO positive in this video for Bush. it reminds us he has failed to avenge 9/11. And on top of that, he and his dad got heaped with insults by the very guy he should have killed. it's a giant smack in the face.


so i woke up this morning, i gues safter processing this thing overnight, and OBLs comments on "not kerry not bush not al quaeda" bit finally sort of made sense.


I think this video was made to "set the record straight". I think obl and his cronies ahve been paying close attention to american media, and frankly i think he's pissed that he's been pimped all through these elections. His mission and ideology (in his mind) has been boiled down to "they hate us for our freedom". Which totally denigrates the grand mission he believes he's on to "Free the Faithful, and restore their God-Given land back to the muslim people."


So he basically was saying no man can save you from terror. The threat of Terror isn't going to go away until policy changes. So vote the issues, and don't think anyone can "save" you from me, cuz it's not gonna happen. As long as American Foreing Policy is what it is, i'm still gonna be around, and so is terror.

Now i'm not sure what to think of this....I think he's right in that this "Fear! Terror! Fear! Terror!" propaganda we've been fed is total bullshit, and does oversimplify things. But i can't believe the balls on this dude, that he feels he needs to tellus this.

if anything tho, the whole tape does cement my support for Kerry. More of the same with Bush means more of the same in foreign policy. At least with JFK, i believe not only will he get Al-queda, which i believe DEFINITELY needs to happen, but i think he will also do what needs to be done foreign policy-wise to reduce the threat of terror in general.
