PLEASE READ THIS: newsweek acknowledges ALL POLLS SUCK |
|
Edited on Sat Oct-30-04 10:57 AM by pabloseb
From the latest poll:
"And there is a whole deck of other wild cards. Most observers expect a larger-than-usual turnout, given the passions swirling around this election. If first-time voters turn out in huge numbers, or if young voters actually come out and vote this time, then all the polls (which assume both of those groups will only turn out in their usual low numbers) will be wrong."

We know it to be true. Clinton was elected because of the young vote.
I've always wondered what would happen when the older (and now hopefully wiser) liberals of the sixties joined forces with the saavy youth of the 21st Century. Let's do a do-over but this time without the drugs and irresponsible orgies.

5. IF voters turn out in higher numbers |
|
What the hell is wrong with these people. Early voting turnout is setting records in every single state that has early voting and those that don't absentee voting is happening in record numbers. There is no IF about it. voters are very motivated this year. I believe records will be set in almost every state.

I have stopped watching the polls this last week. It is nice to be reminded that polls are not the be all, end all.
