Heartwarming scene in Keene NH today. |

People with Kerry/Edwards signs EVERYWHERE...waving to cars on every corner...cars honking back and giving the thumbs up... not a sign of Bush people anywhere. I think NH is going to go our way big time! :-)

2. I see NH as a predictor. |

It's a good microcosm of many swing states: - Bush closely won it in 2000 - it leans conservative - Nader is a factor - GOTV machines are in full-gear
Due to its small size and early poll closing time, NH gets called pretty early in the evening.
If Kerry wins NH BIG, we can probably assume that we'll have a nice night overall. If Kerry barely wins, it might be a nail-biter. And if Bush wins, break-out the Maalox. It'll be a long, sad night.
Now.. the 30 or so residents of Dixville Notch, NH vote at midnight on Election Day. If Kerry wins there, I'd say that the election is over. They lean Republican, and Clinton was the last Democrat to win there (in 1992). If it's close, it probably also bodes well for Kerry.
