------------------------------------------------------------------------ I have been asked by the highest authorities (No -- I will not expound) to not hold this Rally.

Although our actions and intent has been nothing but honorable, this effort will not serve our purposes.

My sincerest apologies for this but I must ask that we stand down...

I certainly hope the "highest authorities" know what they are doing and I don't like this anymore than anyone else but I must ask you to stand down.

We can however, return to our previous effort in getting the truth to media outlets, Congress, and other influencial organizations.

This was a great idea and I'm very disappointed -- I hope you will forgive me for this. I'm assured that all will be clear in time (yeah right).

5. There was a thread on here earlier on how the freeps and funders and
swifties were being 'punk'd' by someone into believing they had the goods on Kerry not being honorably discharged. The fools were falling for it hook, line, and sinker.

Wonder if they read the thread here and caught on that they were being had?

...disclaimer on something, distancing themselves legally, including a post claiming that the opinions on FR are not necessarily shared by the SBVT.

If I read it correctly, it may be some bullshit, last minute lie to the effect that John Kerry ACTIVELY worked with Hanoi to undermine the Viet war effort.

Of course it's not true, but the hope was that a last minute accusation could not be refuted due to the late date.

It appears that some are now considering the legal ramifications after the election. (especially the swift boat liars.)

12. It is possible they cancelled the rally because the polls show...
That 10% of Americans are stupid enough to change their vote because of the Bin Laden video.

Do not underestimate the Bush campaign. If they are cancelling an anti-Kerry rally there's a good chance it's because they don't think they need it.

I do not see this as good news at all.
