Beware of gloom and doom polls and post.
It's that time of year when the trolls, naysayers, and weak of heart come out to toy with your peace of mind. What motivates members to post these kinds of threads is anyone guess. Hopefully they simply need reassurance.

The bottom line from what I gather is for an incumbent president Bush is not polling well and is in trouble. Only one out of six people who are called participate in polls. One out of six ! Historically undecideds break for the challenger. Take heart Ann Richards on Larry King said that the republican new voter registration is up 25% and the democratic registration is up 250% . I'll take them odds any day.

1. That is true, but...
we shouldn't close our minds to problems that could affect this campaign, or else we all become "wishful thinkers". I say, screw the polls, history and all that stuff and just focus on GOTV and stoppig election fraud!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

7. DU is a life saver for those of us who live in Bush country.
I live in fly-over country in East Texas in the heart of the bible belt. My husband and I are the only democrats in our extended family of ten. Life was hell at family gatherings under Clinton and hell under Bush.

and PM them.

The people who fighting to get Kerry elected could use some support also. In your opinion, is the gloom and doom supportive of those who are working to change things for the better?

Support should be a two way street

I am trying to convey that we need to look at the motivation of people who post negative messages .
