Texas early vote
Early voting in Texas is over. In the top 15 counties (the only data provided by the secretary of state right now), voter turnout was over 2.4 million, which is a 60% increase from 2000 and represents just under 30% of registered voters in those counties. Although a goodly share of these early votes will be Rubbas, that fact doesn't hurt (they always have high turnout, so early or late doesn't matter) What is great is that this rising tide will float the Dem vote very significantly -- and in Texas, if we can turn out, there is no telling what will happen.

1. Also I do not think it
counts absentee ballots. I know in Florida the DP was pushing them hard.

7. I posted this earlier today
But it's more relevant to this thread. Last night, at the W. Gray location (near west Houston - cross between River Oaks and Montrose), the line was still 1-2 hours long at 8:30 (when I got off work). Awesome.
