Tucker Carlson Calls it for Kerry in Sunday's Washington Post
Edited on Sat Oct-30-04 04:19 PM by BlueNomad

The rest of the Crystal Ball Watchers' predictions are of no surprise from Donna Brazille to Ann Coulter (f^^^ing dreaming; she's a true clown) to Bill Kristol...

...BTW interestingly enough, it looks like Tucker won last year with his prediction. This election, he has Kerry winning with 51.5% and 278 EVs..

1. Most Interesting
One of them had Kerry winning the popular vote and Bush the electoral college. Another had the opposite.

Much as I would love a decisive victory, a part of me would relish the irony of Bush winning the popular vote but losing the electoral (as long as Kerry still got the White House)

4. we must have the popular vote too, with as big a margin as possible
one of the reasons they thought they could treat Clinton like a criminal instead of a president was clinton didn't get a majority of the popular vote.

Time and again freeper type republicans told me Clinton was not elected by a majority of Americans making him less than legitimate.

Yes, it would be a classic irony but it will make it much more difficult for Kerry to win.

We want Kerry to be the first president elected by a majority of Americans since 1988.

I guess it's better than nothing. I think he's right about his percentage of the popular vote, but I think he'll get more EV's than that. I see him getting all of the Gore states plus New Hampshire, Ohio, and Florida. I also think he has a real shot in Nevada.
