Average Household Age Voting Size of Kerry vs. Shrub |
|
I also have a theory, and I want to be careful not to make this sound racist because it is not but I believe that one call to a household that says "Shrub" is likely to have fewer total voters in the household than a person who answers the phone and says Kerry.
I remember reading that Arabs had turned against shrub after voting 80% in 2000 for him. I know some Arab friends that have five voting age adults in one household. Same thing for an Asian couple I know (all voting Kerry) where the son and his wife are living at home while saving for a house. There still would have been only one call and one vote. And many poorer households now are having to double and triple up.
Comments on this theory? (or insults I guess if you prefer).

1. You have a good point, |

However indelicate it may seem there is a definite telephone polling bias that will under-weigh households with multiple voting adults and over-weight single voter homes.
