Bush approval at 46% in latest Newsweek poll
An incumbent's percentage of the popular vote always matches his approval rating + or - 1 point.

1. No wonder they are trumpeting their
Asshole 51 Kerry 45 "poll," and are putting it (maybe) on their front cover. They are scared out of their minds!

2. And that's with an entirely unrealistic overrepresentation of Repukes
in the sample. Chimpy's done!

3. Buh-bye, Bush
Yup, i say Bush tops at 47% if he's lucky. 49.5%-47% Kerry win in popular vote, and a near-landslide in the electoral vote, imho. Kerry wins! Kerry wins!

5. no president with a 46% job approval rating is ever going to be re-elected
never happened in the past, and won't happen this year . . . the only thing we have to worry about now is the damage that BushCo can do between Election Day and the inauguration . . . I envision a whole encyclopedia of Executive Orders on everything from the environment to pardoning administration appointees for whatever crimes they may have committed (and they are legion) . . .

6. Isn't that a drop?
I thought his approval was at 48%???

One is so tempted to say "Pass the orange marmalade. Bush is toast".

I mean, it just seems impossible for him to win when his approval is less than 50%.
