What would happen if Bush catches Bin Laden AFTER he loses the election?
What would happen if Bush catches Bin Laden AFTER he loses the election, say in mid-December. It would undoubtedly give him an approval rating spike in his last month. Think the Chimp would use it as some kind of excuse to try to void the election results?

4. Its not the bush style
If anything, he'll sabotage the Kerry presidency. You might remember poppy bush saddling clinton with Somalia in December. As if he would have had a humanitarian instinct if he wasn't a lame duck to a Democrat.

Look for more of the same out of junior.

17. 'zactly... and it won't make any difference in Iraq anyway.
The war will still be going on... in the wrong place, but that was Bush's doing.

9. An old saying comes to mind -
'A day late and a dollar short.'
He's toast on 3 November.
Here's what I'm saying to the AirFrance crew as we board the plane for Paris: "Maintenant, nous avons un vrai president. Les jours de la cretin est termine"
Now we have a real president. The days of the cretin are finished.

10. Nah....Bush will be sulking on the ranch after the election. I really
don't see him being engaged in his duties after 11/2. Except to shred/burn all incriminating documents of his pResidency.

12. Nuttin' would happen
But first, I think * will simply slither away. The only way *he* would catch bin Laden after the election is if it happens by accident.

If it happens, so much the better for the country. We'll be rid of two assholes. You decide which one is worse.

13. You mean like
Jimmy Carter freeing the Iranian held hostages? I think giving Pakistan planes that increases their nuclear threat would offset the drama. Bin Laden doesn't look much smarter than Hussein. He might be taken alive.

Drive it right into a wall, hand Kerry the keys, and say "Good luck, fucker."

15. He has been 0 for 3 years ...
What makes you think AWOL is going to catch him in the next few months.

Besides, we are more vulnerable to an attack now than ever. The only thing Bush is doing involves getting re-elected, not making the American People safer.

Q: What's the difference between Bush and Bin Laden ?

A: Bin Laden has no reason to Lie to the American People.

Cheers
Drifter

23. No.
There's no provision in the Constitution saying, "States can determine electors, but if the incumbent does something really, really good after the election, he can negate the election's results."

And if the Chimp captures OBL in December, good. It's one less mess for Kerry to clean-up when he takes office.

26. Not going to happen.
He's too lazy, and besides, he'll be too busy vindictively trying to fuck everything up as badly as possible to leave President Kerry with an even bigger mess to sort out.

start a war with Iran, start a war with North Korea,
hand the White House keys to Kerry, than jet off to

But he will never catch him alive. Can't take the chance of Kerry catching him alive, Bin Laden knows too much about the * family businesses.
