Everyone knows they are skewed by whomever gets to them first... us or the freeperthugs. Do they really matter? The time spent DUing polls could be time spent exposing more Bush lies by emailing the press and getting the word out!

Many people who haven't decided what they think are looking at that data. We're telling them what to think. Once upon a time, only the media, itself, could tell people what to think in this way. Now the people have a much greater voice in shaping public opinion.

We watch the news. We discuss the issues. We research the facts. We know what's going on in the world. As such, we have a duty to tell people what to think, whether we like that duty or not.
