Santa Fe was religious and physical experience for the Big Dog....
You could just see the joy on his face. For a few blissful moments, he seemed to forget that he had just gone thru heart surgery. You could see the happiness on his face. He was doing what he loves.

As the New Mexican sun sank in the valley below, the people cheered for him. Amongst the alien adobe, he had no problem feeling right at home. And the people loved him in return...

1. He's incredible.
I don't know of anyone who can hold the attention of a crowd like that yet sound like he's talking right to you. Jesus, I miss him, and at the same time, am full of hope for a Kerry Presidency. I'm so glad the Big Dawg is on the campaign trail for John Kerry, but I hope he doesn't over do it!

2. I saw it on CSPAN and loved watching it...
the last time I was in that Plaza I was marching with about 6,000 other people in the fall of 2002, before * got his war on. The golden sun in the Santa Fe Plaza looked good tonight on Bill, and you're right, he was in great form.

3. I watched that also...on cspan. It was great.
I thoroughly LOVED Theresa's message. I thought she gave an exceptional speech today; she looked wonderful too. I'm liking her more and more every day.

I loved the mexican/hispanic music: La Bamba was too cool. LOL
I loved that they could speak to the crowd in other than english. I loved the faces of Native Americans in the crowd. I respect Gov. Richardson more than before. Clinton was just RIGHT ON THE MONEY.

Bill can give a speech that touches all levels of american citizenry. He can be folksy (which I adore) and he can be perfectly statesman like. I chuckled when Bill pointed out that healthcare by government was good enough for Bush, why not for the nation!(paraphrased by me)Whadda guy!

Lastly, I think I'll move to New Mexico..........what a BEAUTIFUL place!

and the reaction was incredible-people looked like they were mauling him. After just coming home from a Michael Moore "Slacker Tour 2004" rally I am as happy as I've been in a looong time. I only pray that my hopefulness lasts past Tuesday. Moore et al were wonderful-as was the crowd.
