5. Ohio is the only swing state where I'm not seeing a Kerry momentum

Let's wait until tomorrow. Polls a few days old show Kerry ahead, while today's polls show the chimp slightly ahead, but all within the margin of error. I think we'll have better news tomorrow.

6. Yeah I thought I heard good news from OH too...
Let me try and find it...had Kerry up a good amount - 6 points or something.

Remember, Gore stopped campaigning or putting $ into OH 6 weeks before the election in 2000. He only lost by 4. OH has been hardest hit economically, and I highly doubt the good people of Ohio are going to give * 4 more years to really do the entire state in for good.

8. Yup, that's the LA times poll

Days from one or two days ago show Kerry slightly ahead and polls from yesterday or today show the chimp a little ahead. All within MoE. it's obviously close but high turnout + undecideds breaking for the challenger + GOTV will give Kerry the 20 EVs of Ohio.

3. Last I checked
Kerry was still kicking major ass in Ohio. That was Thursday night before the OBL tape (rove trick, it doesn't pass the smell test to me) and it doesnt seem to have even bumped him a bit.

I feel confident that Kerry will win Ohio, no matter what. And if something fishy goes down, you better bet they will pour a shit load of resources into the state, legal wise.

Don't sweat, just three more days, just three more days

:Thumbs Up:!

7. Just checked Race2004
It does show that Bush is ahead, but not by anything resembling a comfortable margin. And remember -- Bush knows that if he loses Ohio, he's TOAST. He's throwing everything he's got at it and that means he doesn't have the time, money or people to send to other states. And it doesn't factor in the invisble voters or the large turnout. Ohio is still very much in reach.

Kerry is up by 7 now in Wisconsin, 3 in Iowa and between 4 and 8 in Minnesota.

So let's see. Bush gains 20 -- maybe -- in Ohio and loses 27 in the upper midwest. I'll take it...
