6. How do you like the new we need "strong leaders" ad |
|
God, it makes me sick the way they denegrate Jimmy Carter! :puke: :puke: :puke:
I'm going to walk a couple of blocks within the next couple of days and ask the only place on the block with the Bush/Cheney sign prominantly displayed..."Why? Please explaing this to me. Why are you supporting George W. Bush? Why?" (I really am going to do this, even though I'm in DuPage County...the most Republican County in America.)
*sigh* I can't wait till November 3rd!

thank God!
I really do feel sorry for you battleground states...sort of. I say sort of because it seems that we get ignored, but I don't relish the thought of non-stop psyops by the Bush admistration either.
Here in Illinois, we have a new ad running. Woohoo! It's from the Republicans...shows a picture of Jimmy Carter, then Michael Dukakis in his tank costume tellings us that we've have weak leaders in that past. Then a foray into Ronald Reagan, pulling down the Berlin wall, and...oh yes, the statue of Saddam falling as we promote "strong leaders".
Then the ad says we need strong leaders. There is a difference. We need Republicans.
Sickening. Absolutely sickening.

|
"John Kerry is the most liberal person to ever live..." or something like that. Saw it at least half a dozen times during the football games.

7. More important question |
|
is it getting any media coverage? The worst thing about the loser swift boat crap in august wasn't the ads, it was the "debate" about the ads on cable. If they don't get any coverage they are just preaching to the choir and won't help Rove control the message in the last days. My guess is they aren't, that story is played, and one more indicator that bush is doomed.
