Um ... pardon me while I quietly throw up.
Okay, back.
At the risk of stating the obvious, you're an idiot. Let's cover a few ground points here, even though its frankly a waste of time:
1) Bill Clinton managed to accomplish a great deal even in the short time that he happened to have a Democratic congress, despite the fact that from the get go there were attempts to link him to just about every conceivable POS that the conservatives could. Once your Republicans decided to set up the "Contract on America" after regaining control of the House, Clinton still managed to outflank you, still managed to get re-elected after being condemned as "irrelevant" in the press, and managed to pass hugely significant pieces of legislation despite everything from the investigation into Whitewater (which cost millions and proved nothing) and then Monica-gate, to the point where he was impeached and STILL managed to outflank you idiots.
2) Kerry has a very robust and generally very successful congressional record. Bush has Arbusto (name says it all), the Texas Rangers (and Sammy Sosa), Harken (which went under), going AWOL from his cushy military obligation and a stint as a governor in Texas that resulted in massive environmental, economic, and social problems ... and that's not even starting to talk about his failures as pResident. Bush barely graduated from Harvard only because his father gave the school lots of money, Kerry was valedictorian of his class. Bush never had a military command, and from every indication couldn't even fly a goddamn plane.
3) The "media support" that you talk about has to do with the fact that under Bush, most of the Fairness Doctrine has disappeared, so that there are only about six major media corporations in the US, including the foreign sponsored Fox News (or does it bother you that Rupert Murdoch isn't even an American), the very right-wing leaning Clear-Channel radio conglomerate, CNN/Time Warner, which has become very right-leaning in recent years, and ABC/Disney. Oh, of course, NBC is also owned by General Electric, which of course has had no possible benefit from the Gulf War. Given that, you expect to see "balanced" media-support?
4) The Republican Party has already split, and the old line Conservative branch is effectively dying. What's left at its core is a fascist party with strong religious support, a party that frankly could care less about the party of Bob Dole, and perceives that they are now strong enough to attempt to become the SOLE party in the United States. The left has united not because of the attentions of the DLC, but in spite of it ... those not in the fascist camp range from enlightened libertarians to Greens, Labor to the pro-business leaning DLC, minorty groups to urban tech professionals, and to a great extent even the moderate Republicans who are being excluded from what they thought was their party. They are rising in response to a perceived threat to THEIR country and THEIR values, and are putting aside often very deep differences to see an incompetent Bush out of the White House. The DLC has very little control over the process right now (I'm not even sure the DNC is doing more than hanging on as they ride this particular earthquake).
5) Hillary Clinton is a Senator from New York. She will likely remain the Senator from New York, because being Senator is both a lot more fun and way less stressful than being president. Most people in the Democratic party know this, and we're not waiting in the wings to nominate Hillary in 2008. Get over your sick Dominatrix fantasies about Hillary Clinton -- it's about as likely that we'll see Laura Bush as President in 2008, and frankly I hope it NEVER gets that bad.
6) Every questionable voting practice I have seen in this latest election (not to mention those from the last four years) has had the imprimiteur of the GOP on it. From voter disenfranchisement through felony lists, unauditible electronic voting machines, GOP SecStates doing everything they can to make it difficult to vote, to intimidating and misleading predominantly Democratic voters, they've been overwhelmingly on the Republican side. As a computer scientist who was one of several in the country who signed a statement warning of the dangers of computerized voting systems, I can safely say that the "supposed" propaganda is in truth simply a litany of verifiable facts. You cheat and your party cheats, and then you get oh so upset when you're accused of this.
You, sir, are one of the reasons why I AM voting for Kerry and not voting for any Republicans this cycle, even though I consider myself a centrist. Your spiritual ancestors burned books at Nuremburg, and burned Jews at Auschwitz. I will not let it happen in my country, thank you.
