2. Survey USA from 10/26 had it Kerry 50 GWB 47 in OH
It's a poll of 831 likely voters conducted 10/23 through 10/25 and released a couple of days ago. Here's a link to a pdf file:

4. Zogby has Bush ahead 49-44 in latest tracking poll..
This is surveys conducted from 10/27-10/30
Yesterday, which was 10/26-10/29, Bush was 46-45...

Two days of calling after the Bin Laden tape may have had an effect on Ohio....

It looks like the other states are holding up

Iowa, in the same period went from Bush 48-46 to Kerry 48-47

Minn is slipping from 49-43 kerry to 49-46. Means he is still holding his own but Bush may be picking up some UD..

Wis froom 50-45 for Kerry to 52-44 Kerry

PA went from 47-44 Kerry to 49-46 KErry

Michigan went from 48-46 Bush to 48-47 Kerry

And FLA, 47-45 Kerry to 49-47 Kerry....

I live in Ohio and am never going to be optomistic about Ohio going dem...

16. No No No. Born and raised in Ohio. Now a Virginian.
Ohio just must go blue for Kerry. What about those 30k challenged voters. Isn't that a sign of the times? Come on Ohio. GOTV. Please.

I was reading a Newsweek article about bush 'pulling ahead' today. I logged on and took their poll.....the results showed 77% will vote for KERRY and 21% for bush.
How the hell can they l i e in their headlines and articles like that? Who are the dorks that they're "polling"?

15. Online polls don't count.
Unscientific, not a truly random sample. Also very easily manipulated by a large number of people with an agenda.

6. I don't believe there is one, but...
They're all within the margin of error and thate's been a big early vote that doesn't show up in the polling.

All this means is that we need to fight harder than ever.

7. All reports I can find show dead heat, but..
The way I find the most recent articles out of a particular state like Ohio is to go to Google.

Once you pull up Google, click on the "news" button.

Pull up the news page, then type in key words such as "Kerry Bush Ohio Polls"

Then click on the "Search News" button.

It will spit up the latest articles by relevancy.. But you can change that to the show the articles "by date" by just clicking that option.

The latest news released will be on top (it will say "2 minutes ago") etc..

Anyway.. good way to see what's happening RIGHT NOW anywhere.. All articles I can find show it a dead heat. Even though we'll win ;)

8. If there isn't one today wait until tomorrow. Polls suck.
Remeber when the LAtimes said Kerry was up big in OH a few days ago? Now Zogby shows the opposite a day later? Polls are inaccurate.

9. Yes, kind of

Mason-Dixon has the chimp ahead by 2. Mason-Dixon wildly oversamples repugs, so it's safe to add AT LEAST 3 points to Kerry.

Also note that chimp is at 49% or less and Nader is off the ballot.

All in all, it looks close but not dramatic.

13. I dont think so
I cant belive Bush will win Ohio. Disregard mason-dixon. Zogby and Rass have always had ohio for Bush.

I think the dems are confidet in ohio though. Turnout is goign to be huge. Look at slate.com's election scorecard. They still have Oio for Kerry. Ohio for Kerry is much easier for me to see than Florida for Kerry. I would like both though. Let us hope this GOTV campaign works and isn't a flop like Dean's Iowa storm trooper display.

19. The party of racists and bigots launched its largest disenfranchisement
of minorities effort ever in Ohio. That Bush chose Ohio as the state to openly fight for the dienfranchisement of minorities tells me more than any poll.
