2. The 2nd most important race Tuesday is Louisiana senate |

If Vitter (R) doesn't manage 50%, we're treated to four more weeks of polls prior to the runoff!

3. Smart, because they are just manipulative propaganda. |

It's gonna be Kerry in a freaking landslide.
These polls are just to set up the potential election fraud, but the numbers will be so overwhelming no fraud could over come them.

they are meaningless.
All there is to know is the following:
Bush is hitting a ceiling of somewhere between 47-48. That's both nationally and in state polls of battleground states.
More people say the nation is going on the wrong track.
People are excited to vote. Democrats have got more people registered than Pukes.
All that matters at this point is turnout. Bush can win - ONLY if dems don't make sure other dems don't get their asses to the polls.

Guess we can't seem to discuss anything more substantial than polls.

I don't think all those people on line for 3 hours to early vote are that concerned about poll numbers somehow. :)

8. Neither side has a (meaningful) lead .. there are |
|
no more "undecideds" (if there ever were) - it's put up or shut up time now, with the race to the side that gets the most voters to the correct polling place, with adequate ID (if local law requires), to properly complete the voting process (PAY ATTENTION to ballot amd double check your choice - no hanging chads, etc)

Poll outcomes can be manipulated and massaged to say just what you want them to "say."
Too many people who like me, don't have a land line and so aren't polled.
Too many 18-24 year olds who are voting in "droves" but aren't being polled.
Too many people who haven't voted before but who are voting now not being polled.
Too many who don't feel any party affiliation or who don't feel particularly loyal to either candidate not showing up on the radar.
Polls just can't be relied on to tell what's going on "here on the ground."
I wish we had one thread for all the polls and the roller coaster ride they offer those who "live by the poll."
:hi:
Edited to add: I'd rather we had the numbers who have turned out for early voting. Just to see the interest generated during this election.
