It's obvious: Kerry's going to win this thing
Kerry's going to win.

The only thing I'm worried about: will Bushies let Kerry win.

2. Yes Kerry IS going to win
1. Gore won last time -- and the media was against him -- he still won.

2. Votes were stolen in many states to enable bush to get close enough that he could have his daddy's friends in the Supreme Court vote for him -- the only 5 votes that counted.

3. This time -- the vote turn out is huge -- perhaps the largest in the history of the nation? Historians -- what was the voter turn out in the 19th century?

4. Polling is misleading -- due to cell phone and vast number of newly registered voters.

5. Iraq going badly -- many people realize that they were lied to by the bush crime family.

6. Osama bin Ladin is still around -- the video is not good news for bush.

7. bush's approval rating are bad.

8. US Economy is bad -- a far larger number of people are unemployed than reflected by the unemployment figures.

9. The majority of people in the US are NOT stupid -- in fact I believe that many people are afraid to tell anyone that they intend to vote for Kerry.

10. and the list goes on --

Logic tells us the Kerry will be the next President of the US. Plus a whole lot of good people have Kerry's back -- unlike what happened to Gore in 2000.

Last but not least -- Kerry wants to be President. He is ready and willing to fight for us.

I hope this is what makes it a landslide.

7. That's my point: I don't think it's a matter of GOTV
Republicans are looking beyond GOTV, to Suppress the Vote.

Republicans profit from kicking the board and cancelling the ballot.

Throw it to state legislatures. Throw it to the Senate/Congress. Anything but the ballot box.

It's my only worry.

13. That's part of GOTV
Poll watchers, lawyers, etc. We're ready this year, we weren't in 2004. If we get out the vote and keep our eyes open, we'll win.

8. Forget the Bushes. They're toast.
The sun is setting on their pathetic delusions of grandeur. Not even Jim "Mr. Fixit" Baker can stop this one for them.

1. I hope you're right. I fear you're wrong.
What's to stop these Bush bastards from causing a stir in key states, using their media to make a mountain out of a molehill, and then either having the Republicans state legislatures step in, and/or throwing the vote into the Congress/Senate?

I can't believe these reich wing assholes will do anything less than ANYTHING to take this election.

What was your first post? A plan for growing the deficit and getting millions MORE people killed due to incompetence?

12. Supreme Ct. means Kerry must win - cleaning up Bush's mess and possible..
problems, Carter like problems, with trying to find solutions to the unsolvable situation Bush has left behind, well regardless, even if, on face value, with an uncooperative Congress and aggregious budget deficits, the Kerry Presidency is historically listed as second rate - by choosing top rate justices and weathering the impending political storms, Kerry will be a true success in my eyes, and in the view of many who will vote him in on Nov. 2nd, and moreover, in history - which will take note of his 30 year impact on the bench.

14. Why would Clinton get up off his death bed?
I thought that was the spin, Kerry's in such trouble they had to roll Clinton out of the hospital. You guys are really getting too obvious.

17. So Kerry loses and Bush loads the SC with a bunch of 45 year old Scalias?
So for the next half century, whenever the Repukes stumble over a law they don't like, they simply appeal it up to the Supreme Court where Chief Justice Scalia and his ideological clones rule it unconstitutional.

Brilliant plan, huh? :eyes:

Even as much as I might like to see Hillary get a crack at being the first woman President, she's not running now, and we can't afford to sacrifice this election just so that she can in another four years. By then, there may not even be a Presidency that she or anyone will be able to run for. And even if there is, the Right-Wing "Scalia Supremes" will be salivating at the chance to undo whatever good another President Clinton may manage to accomplish.

I do agree with you that another four years of Bush will certainly destroy his family name, and the Republican Party with it -- But those circumstances will come at a terrible price. Bush's re-Selection will also bring our great country so far down into corruption and ruin that only a popular revolt may be able to set things straight again. Think about how many more thousands of people, men, women, CHILDREN, American, Iraqi and others will lose their lives under four more years of Bush and his arrogant, chest-thumping warmongering! Are their lives really worth the destruction of Bush's name and his party?

Bear in mind that the American political Left is now more organized and energized than it has ever been. Even if Kerry wins, we aren't taking a sabbatical until Tom DeLay and the GOP's majority in congress have been totally demolished, corporate interests are removed from politics and the peoples' interests and rights have been restored.

A Kerry win on Nov 2 is not the victory of a war, but a victory in the first of many battles in a war for democracy.

Sorry, couldn't resist, LOL.

I do think that barring any substantial, successful vote fraud/suppression on the part of the Repubs the momentum is really in favor of Kerry right now.

what they mistakenly believe to be hints that are too subtle for us to pick up. That last freeper's trolling attempt was every bit as bad as the acting and plot of the movie he chose for his moniker.
