Has Bush ever had 70,000 show up for a rally??

I'm just wondering about this.

John Kerry is getting huge numbers at rallies, and he is just a senator.

Has 'President' Bush ... EVER had any rallies with 70,000 people??

And even if Bush has, Kerry has held at least one rally with 120,000 people ..

That’s a 70k rally PLUS a full sold-out football stadium of people added ON TOP of the 70k!!

George Bush cant match that, never has and never will.

George Bush is just not popular with the people, never was and after seeing him in action, damn sure never will be.

Bush used to go to big speeches before military crowds, but the armed services can be reprimanded for not attending and saluting the CiC, that doesn’t count as a public rally.

Has Bush EVER had a rally with more than 10 or 20 thousand supporters???

Best
Kelley

5. But the "pundits" say....
"Did you know" that people are JUST turning out to see Bruce Springsteen? Or Bon Jovi? Or Ben Afleck?

And when Clinton was there ith JFK in Philly, it was not because people love him or that he is popular, but ONLY because people were curious what he looked like after surgery?

Nah! You KNOW they're full of shit! They have their heads stuck SO FAR up their asses they haven't a clue as to what is REALLY going on. They mistake Planet Spin for Planet Earth.

I am sick and tired of this hysterical dumb drama queen bullshit that poses as "news" these days. My greatest happiness and satisfaction is that people, who do NOT ordinarily seek out "alternative" news, or use the internet for news -- but who JUST watch broadcast and cable news -- have BY THEMSELVES and with no prompting figured it out, using their own brains, that they are being lied to, and that this is the last chance to set it straight.

20,000 people turned out last week for John Kerry in PIttsburgh. 4 years ago, Al Gore, who WON this state comfortably, brought in 10,000 in the same venue.

Only the "pundits" are going to be shocked Tueday night. We won't be, and neither will our many friends throughout the planet, who KNOW we are good and great and decent and who will FIGHT these monsters and keep the light of liberty burning.

9. Too much of a security risk
I think he may have had one or two large rallies in the 2000 election, but this cycle, its always been in very closed, very staged venues. I've often wondered what the small "private" fundraisers have been like, and whether the people who went to them came away thinking the guy was an idiot?

3. Yes, Bush is a risk to security

I'll agree with that.

And its probably a big reason he doesnt have a lot of popular support.

10. They'd never dare let that many in...
...because Shrubbie is afraid of protesters.

I date that attitude back to his faux inauguration, when his limo got pelted with eggs, and he had to run through a gauntlet of people with signs saying he was illegitimate and had stolen the presidency.

12. BWAHHAAAAHAAAA!!!! bushco can't even scedule events correctly!
He is scheduled to speak at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati...at 8:00PM on Halloween. Many of the local Repubs are choosing their kids trick-or-treating over the dim son. The organizers had originally hoped to have a crowd of 50,000 but Thursday have lowered their expectations to 30,000. DUHHHH!

I'm betting they don't even get 25K.

14. Kerry came to the Metrodome here, which was packed with over 30,000
people, breaking all records in this state. by contrast, here in Minnesota bush showed up at the Target center which barely holds 15,000 and there were tons of open seats. the largest turnout bush had here was in Chanhassen, with 18,000. think about it... basically bush draws half as many people as Kerry here in Minnesota!

15. I wonder if anyone has done a comparison like that..

Thanks for the report, sounds like we are in good shape in MN. I wonder if anyone has done a comparison like that in other states..

there have been numerous times when Bush was in the same state (even the same city) on the same day as Kerry... and I havent seen any news reports comparing the crowds, that HAS to mean Kerry is smoking Bush in crowd sizes.

18. CNN said 'hundreds' at the Philly rally for Kerry

There were actually 100,000 to 125,000.
