"Im worried about this", "im worried about that", " im concerned" - STFU |

We will kick ass on November 2nd.
We will WIN. Pick your head up. Hold it up with pride and smile.
IT'S A WIN!
Look at the freakish early voting results if you need to. Look at the state polls for Ohio, and ignore battleground polls from a guy who had California TIED on Nov 1 2000.
LOL!

2. We have every demographic |
|
They just reported today that Latinos went for Kerry at the exact same rate they did in 2000. Blacks and women too. We have every single democraphic, plus more of the military vote AND some conservatives who hate Bush AND at least double youth vote. You can't have every single demographic and be behind, it's not possible. Sick of this nonsense.

that 11% of those that voted for Bush in '00 are going to Kerry...while 7% of those voting for Gore goin to Bush.
Someone said that in IA, the defection rate of Gore-> was even lower - 1/20 Gore voters going for Bush.
So we can guess that Kerry has taken about 10% of those that voted for Bush last time....Say 7% of Gore voters go to Bush (I doubt it's even that high in battleground states), we win. This doesn't even count new voters or former Nader voters.
I'm not one that wears rose colored glasses, and I'm a pessimistic person by nature, but I'm feeling good about this. I'm sick of the "I'm worried" shit.
Kerry is behind only 3-4 points in VA for God's sake.

3. Putting threads like this on ignore |

I'm sick of the doomsaying, the wringing of hands and the the "woe is us" attitude. Grow a spine people! Josh Marshall wrote about this just a couple of days ago I believe, and he is sick of it too. Positive energy is required at this time and we must have faith in our fellow Americans. Keep the negative crap to yourselves. If you have nothing uplifting and positive to post, then don't post anything! Look, no matter what happens, we will persevere, I'm absolutely sure of that. So, keep good thoughts until Tuesday, and get out and vote!

is when the perps get all sanctimonious about not submitting to "groupthink" and "I guess my ideas are just too independent for you" and "this election is too important to quit worrying about" and on and on.
Time to suck it up.

We are looking GREAT for Tuesday. I don't know what people expect -- shit after the big Saddam capture Chimps approval was GAK 88% -- it's half that now and Kerry has really succeeded in defining himself apart from all he RW smears.
