Here's an interesting quote from the Dick about Osama at a campaign stop last week...

you got a flu shot, and I support you 100 percent.

THE VICE PRESIDENT: Okay. (Laughter and applause.)

Q Second, I want to ask you if you'd sign my bear like President Bush
did, and if I can get a hug from both you and your lovely wife. (Laughter.)
And then third and last, I wanted to know what plans you have on tracking down
Osama bin Laden?

THE VICE PRESIDENT: That is a good question, and the answer to the first
two is yes and yes. (Laughter.)
Osama bin Laden has been a prime focus of our interest, obviously, since
before 9/11, really. And we have not let up for a minute. John Kerry
suggested somehow we are not aggressively pursuing Osama bin Laden because
we've got other interests. That's just not the case. We've been in the hunt
here now for a good, long period of time. We haven't seen much of him.
You'll notice there haven't been any bin Laden tapes running on the air where
he's out broadcasting messages, frankly, because we think he's probably in a
deep hole someplace, in hiding. We'll continue on the hunt until we find him.
I'm convinced we will eventually get him. And it's just a matter of time and
making a major effort, and we're doing exactly that.

5. Good find, Pamela. So, by Cheney's own lying account, * & Co. have failed!

If, per Cheney, one of the measures of the administration's aggressive pursuit of Osama is the fact that "there haven't been any bin Laden tapes running on the air where he's out broadcasting messages," then Cheney is obviously lying, because we've all seen the tape.

Therefore, the * administration cannot possibly be pursuing OBL aggressively, because he has the time, means and delivery system for his video tapes, as usual. Nothing has changed.

And thus, Kerry is telling the gospel truth when he says that the administration isn't doing all it can do in this area.

I'd love to see Dick Cheney's words get tossed back at him bragging that there haven't been any Bin Laden tapes and indicating that this is proof they've been fighting him effectively. Hah!
