Giving Florida to Bush because the fix is in
I notice many amateur voting analysts mucking about in the Electoral College standings are giving Bush to Florida because, well, the fix is in. I did the same thing on my bulletin board for teachers.

But, my God, is that was this country has come to? Do we be realistic and concede a state because BushCo cheats and oh, well?

I know Greg Palast is documenting some serious evidence of cheating. I have also read that Florida law enforcement says they're too busy to check into allegations of voter fraud (from either side) until after the election.

What I don't know is what are our plans should our suspicions be true. Who is the watchdog and how can I help?

They will mobilize demonstrations if the evidence shows the election is stolen.

2. Fight Like Hell For It- but make sure we can win without it.
That's been my 'amateur voting analysis' strategy.

Oh, it'll be sweet as hell if we take it. But we can't count on it, not with what happened last time.

I think (hope) there are some pretty big people who are on top of Florida this time. I'd try to contact Michael Moore, among others, if you're really interested in helping.

5. Go to Johnkerry.com or moveon.com etc and spend the next three days
making calls...In boxing terms..you don't need a judge if it is a knockout. Your calls might just nullify the fix.. Don't count anyone out till the very last vote is counted.

7. The "fix" was in last time
The only reason that Florida became an issue in 2000 was because they underestimated the size of the "fix" they needed.

GOTV in Florida in 2000 was anemic compared to what we are doing this year. I know because I worked on GOTV for Gore in FL in 2000.

These guys approached Iraq from a same sort of rosy scenario. There is no reason to believe that they haven't underestimated the size of the needed "fix" this time.

In short, the "fix" may well be in, but we could well win anyway.

Democrats in Florida are fighting mad and we outnumber the repugs.

8. The state police in FL are too busy intimidating black GOTV organizers

in Orlando.

These days, schemes to suppress the vote are coming down the pike at a NASCAR-like clip: In July, Michigan State Rep. John Pappageorge told a gathering of party officials at an election strategy meeting of the Oakland County Republican Party that "If we do not suppress the Detroit vote, we're going to have a tough time in this election cycle." In Orlando, Fla., members of the Orlando League of Voters – an African-American civic group made up of mostly elderly women that has helped turn out large numbers of Democratic voters in the city – were the subject of an intimidating house-to-house investigation by Governor Jeb Bush's state police, who were supposedly checking out charges of electoral irregularities. The Rev. Jesse Jackson recently charged Republican Ohio Secretary of State J. Kenneth Blackwell with "trying to reverse gains made by the civil rights movement by limiting where some Ohioans can cast their ballots," the Palm Beach Post recently reported.

10. I think we can count on them stealing Florida and Minnesota
I have a real hard time believing that Jeb Bush legitimately won Florida in 2002, after what happened in 2000. I also found it impossible that Norm Coleman won in 2002 after Wellstone was killed in that airplane crash. Nope, they've got the fix in, at least in those states.

11. You're right -- it's shocking that we must even discuss this, and weigh it
as we consider our chances for electoral success. We MUST remove from power this nefarious faction, and its titular leaders, the Bush family.

12. OK, Doom & Gloomers: the difference is THIS time they'll be caught.
Everyone is watching. EVERYONE is watching.
If they even TRY, it will be exposed...and expect riots.

MY PREDICTION: A LANDSLIDE SO BIG FLORIDA BECOMES IRRELEVANT!!!
