My Repub family member was freakin' yesterday

I went to my mother's house (who is now a republican since 9/11) and my aunt called. I could tell my mom was trying to calm her down and tell her that polls didn't matter, I heard talk of the OBL tape. Then after she got off the phone I asked if she was freakin out or something and my mom kept kinda evading the questions. Then she started folding shirts all angry. I was asking her if Kerry wins will she show him the same respect she is hollering that no one is showing Bush. And she went off on a tangent about Vietnam and him being a traitor. ugh!

But anyway I thought that doesn't look good for BUllSHit when his supporters are freakin!

I also wore a Kerry\Edwards sticker while trick or treating with my kids. I had one person ask me where I got it. I had another person say "We like you!" and another man joke that I could have all the candy in his bowl.

BTW this is in Southern Ohio! The repubs aren't smug at all!

We're glad you made it! Remind your mom about how well Clinton handled things in the former Yugoslavia. Victory,regime change,and nation building achieved,with zero US combat fatalities. Wouldn't she like to see such victories again?

Meanwhile, heard on news yesterday about the assault on Fallujah -- it was a little 'item' that was slipped in -- some officials beleive Zarqawi may have slipped out of the area and is no longer in Fallujah
