Why is Bush skipping his annual physical ?
From Buzzflash:

Every year for the last three years President Bush has had his annual physical in August. This year the Bush administration has announced that the president will not be taking his physical until after the election. Time constraints of his re-election campaign are given as the major reason for the change. Exactly how long does a physical take? Not that long really. So is the President really skipping his physical because of time constraints or is he hiding something?

There are many reasons to suspect the President is hiding something. First is the physical evidence visible in the three presidential debates. In the first debate the President was relatively subdued. Most notable was a persistent scowl that seldom left his face unless he was the one speaking. But in the second debate there was a completely different version of the President. He seemed overly aggressive and kept making an odd side to side motion with his lower jaw. Many, including doctors and other medical professionals, suggested the changes were symptomatic of someone who had been given cocaine or a drug with similar effects.

15. It may be mental instability
A link in the Online Journal hints that this may be due to presenile dementia. The link is here:

16. I think there's something seriously wrong with him too...

the "bulge" was most probably some medical device. Plus, some of his recent photos are alarming (seen the 'gin blossoms' photo from BBC?).
My guess is that they (admin) have known for a while. Of course they cannot let a hint of this out. They knew Cheney will never get elected; so it was not a reasonable alternative to run a Cheney/and (someone like Powell) ticket. But they could not drop Cheney altogether either. That wont look good at all. So I think earlier this year, or sometime last year, they went with the decision to go Bush/Cheney again, hope that they win, and if they do, then it really doesnt matter. Cheney can run the country like he does now, or run it officially if W keels over.
Again its my guess, but if they had someone viable as VP, W would have recused himself due to his illness, I think they would have run a different ticket and had the best of both worlds; i.e. they would not have W running again, so the repubs could separate his mistakes from this elections, plus they would have cast W as a tragic hero and gotten all the morons who think W is a great man. Win Win situation. I really think the inner-powerbroker-repubs are really wishing they had someone like McCain or Powell as veep right now so they could have dumped W under medical pretexts and made a stronger ticket.
All this is pure conjecture, but it follows a strange but compelling logic.

18. I don't think his annual medical reports have been published since 2001
I searched the White House website and found the summary of a medical examination from August, 2001 written in the words of the President's Examining Physicians. The summary is prepared and signed by the President's physicians: "I have interviewed and examined President George W. Bush, and have reviewed his medical record."
http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2001/08/2001080...

That examination reports musculoskeletal low back pain, secondary to lifting, but it also states that the President was "asymptomatic" in August, 2001 on the date of the exam. After August, 2001, however, I CAN NOT FIND ANY DIRECT SUMMARIES of the President's annual physical exam written in the words of his doctors. Instead, it seems that it's the President's Press Secretary who reports to the media on the results of the annual physical instead of his physician directly. The Press Secretary gives his own brief account of the results of the medical examination, but we don't read directly the summary from one of the President's examining doctors. If anyone else can find an actual summary prepared by a physician on the President, I'd appreciate it. I can't find one. Anyone who would believe everything Bush's Press Secretary says would also probably believe in the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus.
