|

I hate knocking on doors.

5. Keep in mind the Red Sox won the series this year |
|
I wouldn't put TOO much stock in the outcome of the Packer game as far as the election is concerned.
With the Red Sox win, we are obviously in 'Anything Can Happen' mode. Chaos is on the loose!

Of course I'll also be supporting my Vikings to crush the Giants.

7. I will, but you do realize... |
|
This is a bogus stat. You can find trends and patterns to support anything you want, but that doesn't mean these stats have any predictive value.
I'll be cheering the Packers anyway! (Then again, I'm a Cowboy's fan, and I met Brett Favre when we were kids-- we grew up in the same area, knew some of the same people-- so I would be cheering the Packers anyway!)

9. The Red Sox winning means Wash. and Kerry can both win. |
|
Because this is the year when spells are broken.
I mean, I hope Green Bay wins but if they don't so be it. It won't affect the election IMO.

13. Redskins don't fucking matter in the election. |
|
The ability of people to absorb and internalize myth, and then bend their lives around it, is pathetic.
VOTE. WIN. Fuck the Redskins.
No offense to Redskins fans.

for, what 80 some odd years until this year. All records, curses etc. are made to be broken. I wouldn't put a bit of faith in a football game deciding an election. :eyes:

the Redskins win just to see the reaction here. People are going crazy as it is.
Look at this poll! Kerry is ahead!
Wait, this poll had Kerry ahead yesterday, and now it's Bush! It's wrong!
I always trust poll X!
Poll X has Bush ahead by 2! It's wrong!
Why is the media doing this and that!?!?! They're so RW!
It looks like the media is finally waking up!
Wait, it looked like the media woke up yesterday, but today they're right back to doing what they do for the right!
I love the extreme's. They're fun(mostly because it doesn't kill anyone, unlike some extreme's). I just hope the Redskins win so that we can all read about how that particular curse, or trend, or God's divine will, is wrong today.
Go Redskins!

The Redskins are pretty pathetic this year. Just about the only team they can beat are the even more pathetic and injury-plagued Bears.
