Why do republiars rely on foreign owned media?

Republicans seem to not read or watch home-growned media. It just dawned on me that they rely currently on Australian owned Fox, NYPost. Some also seem to take the Korean owned Washington Times/UPI as gospel.
For all the American-owned media, Republicans call them the "liberal-media" or "communist media".

I am just getting bent out of shape because when ABCNews received the first Al Qaeda film this past week (the one before bin Laden), ABCNews wanted to check thoroughly if it was authentic. They did this so that they would not unnecessarily cause panic if it wasn't necessary. That was responsible. FOX News got a hold of the film, and without scruples rushed to run the piece without regard for the American public.
