17. Matthews has stopped criticizing and suggesting Kerry change strategy

A couple of weeks ago he was predicting defeat for Kerry and momentum swinging to Bush unless Kerry could bring out his message stronger and have lots of positive media coverage on the evening news where Kerry was smiling like a winner in front of cheering crowds and delivering a positive but hard-hitting message. Seems like Kerry and his people have managed to do just what Chris suggested they needed to do to win!

btw, Kerry's supposed slump was never as profound as people like Matthews made it out to be. The polls assumed a much higher Republican turnout than would ever happen. But Matthews and co. took them at face value.
