2. There's a special place in Hell for people like Bartlett. |

What's the timeline on this?
If Kerry made his speech in the morning, and bin Laden's tape wasn't seen until the afternoon, then the Bush camp is...ummm...I don't know how to say...ummm...LYING! Kerry has said this all along, including in debate 1 & 2. Did Kerry say this AFTER binny released his tape?
All I remember is Kerry's official statement at his weblog.

3. The Bush administration tried to set Kerry up |
|
Bush heard the tape Friday morning. The usual rule is to brief the other candidate as soon as you can. Bush ordered that Kerry not be briefed until after the tape had been released to the press. Bush and Kerry made their speeches Friday morning and early afternoon with only one of them knowing what was about to come.
This is beyond despicable. If Clinton had done this to Dole in 1996, he would have been pilloried by the Republicans and the press. Bush does it to Kerry and...nothing. Not a fucking peep from anyone.
George W. Bush is the most despicable human being on the planet. He's far worse than Osama Bin Laden, because Bush should know better. He's killed more people than bin Laden - over 100,000 civilian deaths in Iraq since our invasion because he would not send in enough troops to secure the country. Motherfucking bastard.

it still won't work. Picture Bush as Don Quixote. Don Quijote wanted to fight dragons in Spain. He settled for attacking a windmill instead. He had Sancho Panza as his trusty sidekick. For his steed, he had an old nag headed for the glue factory.
Don did his level best to kill the "dragon". That's what Bush reminds me of right now. An ineffective fool who uses the dirtiest of the dirty tricks to "conquer" his opponents.
And it still fails because his opponent is stronger than him, more resourceful and able to stand up to the obviously loaded game.
