5. Who the hell watches PAX anyway? |
|
What's their viewership? About the same as the Food Channel? And who's going to watch it other than evangelicals?

I know a LOT more people who watch the Food Channel regularly than watch Pax. Alton Brown is my culinary hero.
Another random thought: isn't it a bit inconsistent to run a movie trashing a man who opposed the wars in Vietnam and Iraq on a network named Pax?

9. PAX weekly viewership... |
|
In the 400-500K range (average)...probably the same range as a low end niche cable network.
There were probably 10 people watching it.

I don't think it'll have the effect they're looking for on changing minds.
It's extremely irritating how our public airwaves are being abused by partisan networks in trying to manipulate voters. On the other hand, if these lies are the ONLY thing they can hurt Kerry with, it sure says a lot of good things about Kerry's character.
I'm counting on President Kerry to put an end to this media crap.

13. They're Airing it in Central Florida, too! |
|
It was on yesterday from 12-1pm and was on again today from 11-12pm on the local CBS affiliate - not a Sinclair station - airing as a "Paid "Advertisement."
When I got home yesterday my husband (who didn't know about it) told me he saw this show about Kerry protesting and didn't that make him a hypocrite. So I made him watch "Going Upriver" and showed him the info on the lies behind "Stolen Honor." Then he was just pissed that CBS aired it.
If he could be moved like that, I worry about those who don't have a smart wife to give them the right info. :)

15. Well, you are talking about Cookeville, TN ... bizarre in many ways |
|
A few years ago the Cookeville police department stopped a family traveling through on I-40. After getting everybody out of the car they required the car doors remain open even though the family said their little dog might jump out to see what's going on. Well, the little dog did jump out and - BOOM BOOM BOOM - no more little doggie. Those boys are a bit trigger happy around there.
Then, less than a year ago, the Cookeville men in blue were chasing a stolen truck. The truck wrecked and when the police arrived the driver was on the ground behind the truck. Unfortunately the police were driving so damn fast that as they skidded to a stop they ran over the victim, finishing him off.
