Faux News: What a turnaround!
Edited on Sun Oct-31-04 12:54 PM by ksoze
I actually have found myself clicking over TO Faux, instead of away from it this morning and early afternoon. Watching Brian Wilson just now, both segments that included pollsters were predicting a Kerry victory. Even the repub end was looking weak and basically admitting the break is now towards Kerry. Susan Estrich just said she will bet money that it is over Tuesday, huge turnout and a Kerry win. This is looking good!

8. Nah, this is to scare people into standing in those long lines on Tuesday
cause Kerry's gonna win otherwise and raise their taxes, marry their sons off to other men, ban their babbles, and end life as we know it.

6. Could They Be Manipulating
Maybe they are saying that to try to lower the Democratic turnout? There are going to be some very long lines and possibly some bad weather....

5. Noted. I'm thinking the fauxnews fucks are trying to rile up their repuke
base by scaring them, suggesting a Kerry surge.

NEVER trust Ailes and his cabal of nutbags.

10. Hell done froze over!
They are either:

a) scared to death and doing some serious patootie-kissin' because they've been slapped in the face with The Frozen Fish of Reality and see Kerry's gonna win.

or

b) Voldemort's Imperio Curse was broken. (for you Potter fans)

Either way... OMFG! I wish I was a fly on the wall in KKKarl's office 'bout now!

12. Faux is just trying to make it look like their polls are ligit now.
When Kerry wins they don't want their last Poll saying Bush + 5 points so they are giving the REAL numbers now. They are scum!

13. When Republicans start predicting a Kerry win it makes me believe
that they are waking up to their owns lies about this administration and are quietly gleeful about the mess that President Kerry will have to clean up. Just keeping up with the crimes commited by the Bushco. is mind boggling!

15. No, they're just sucking up to the new president
They know Kerry is going to win and they don't want to get shut down for all their lies and non-news editorializing. So they have to kiss some ass real fast and hope Dems have a short memory.

16. Saw Andy Card on Late Edition with Wolf Blitzer
And HE DID NOT LOOK CONFIDENT. He seemed depressed, like he got a look at BushCo's recent internal polls and didn't like what he saw.

To Wolf's credit he hammered Card on the escape of Bin Laden. Mentioned UBL's point that Smirk sat dazed in kindergarten class for minutes on end as thousands of Americans were dying on 911. He also brought up the costly misadventure in Iraq that has nothing to do with 911.

Card just reiterated BushCo's standard talking points and looked like he wanted to be somewhere else.

It was enjoyable to watch. I've said this before: the way to tell how a campaign is going is to study the facial expressions and body language of a campaign’s operatives. What they say is of far less importance. And for weeks now, time after time, I see confidence in Kerry's people and fear/concern in Shrub's people.

For what it is worth.

19. Could be reverse psychology to keep us from voting
:tinfoilhat:, yes, but they'll try anything to ensure Dems don't vote. In this case, make us feel that Kerry is leading so it's okay if a few of us don't go.

22. They would be happy to say they are +6

They love to brag!
They would love to say that Kerry doesn't have a chance so there is no need for Democrats to vote. Make us feel down and not go to the polls.

Instead, the polls must be worse than they are telling us for Chimpy Boy.

They can't take away our dignity or our energy.
We want him OUT and by a HUGE margin.
We want the winner announced Tuesday evening about 9 PM with not one challenge.

KERRY!

23. Meanwhile, on MSNBC they were saying the opposite
It was really strange, I thought MSNBC was Fox, and Fox was the BBC.

Most likely the Fox broadcast was a well-orchestrated position, with Rove devising the plan.

All you cynics are right, the Repugs don't want their base to be too complacent. They want to make sure the fundies are rattled enough to face long lines and bad weather instead of sitting at home on election day.
