Kerry Aide Blasts FNC For Cavuto Comment
On Friday I mentioned Neil Cavuto's joke about bin Laden wearing a Kerry-Edwards button. The Kerry camp asked for a retraction, but didn't get one, ABC's Note says -- so John Sasso blew up at the Fox producer on the press plane: "Is that the one? Is that her? I want her off the plane tomorrow. I'm not kidding." Communications director Stephanie Cutter cleaned up the mess: "He was wrong to say that. We jumped all over him for it."

When reporting on the Bin Laden tape, Neil Cavuto joked that Bin Laden was wearing a Kerry-Edwards campaign button during his taped message (Friday).

How come he got in trouble for that? Bush practically bans anyone who is critical of him from his speeches, and it's about time they start fighting back at slut media like Faux.

5. It shouldn't have been "nearly"

The Kerry people dropped the ball on this one. They should've immediately and very vocally booted the Faux crew. They should've absolutely hit the damn roof. Then we could have had a day or two of exaggerated outrage at the Pubs' and Faux's expense. It would have disgusted every single undecided out there, and drove thousands of extra voters that otherwise wouldn't have even voted. How f*cking dare a supposed "news" channel treat a major political figure with such distain and contempt! Is that supposed to pass for political discourse these days?

By not blasting them with everything they had, the Kerry people may have re-inforced an impression they Kerry ain't got the balls to be Prez. Could you imagine the $#@% that would have rained down on any national reporter if they had pulled that crap with * the punchline instead of Kerry? People would be losing their jobs and networks would have their FCC license threatened. We still wouldn't have been able to get a word in edgewise on any news shows several days later.
