Considering the possible delays, might it be a good idea to think about these things. What about weather factors? Beautiful in NY today.

1. In NY we vote in schools and churches.
Which have restrooms. Otherwise, a portapotty is always a good idea. As are snacks.

2. Yeah, I think it would
We should make it as easy as possible for people being inconvenienced. Snacks, but especially water, and umbrellas is the weather is inclement.

3. Here is my list of goodies to take to the polls Tuesday
Copy of bill of rights, (voter bill of rights). My passport, after all I do have an accent as a naturalized American and EXPECT to be challenged, a book. I will go to pick it up today at the bookstore... I was thinking 1984 but that may be too political, As is I need something non political... Oh and just in case I should need them a shack, and water.

I also intend to be there at opening, and I also expect to be chalelgned

Oh and I am in California but better be prepared, what is the Scout Motto? Oh yes, be prepared.

you and Sen. Byrd. Me from Cali, too. Off topic...so thrilled Latinos nationwide are breaking hard for Kerry. I see them becoming a poltical force in L.A. I think they have good BS detectors based on their prevous experiences in Mexico and other Latin American countries. Happy voting.

10. Good thinking about the passport, my hubby's
a naturalized citizen as well and I told him to bring his passport and naturalization papers with him as well. He's got a really strong Irish accent.

We're in IL and I don't think he'll be challenged either, but as you said "Be prepared".
