If I see one more candidate in a sweater...
Edited on Fri Jan-16-04 09:26 PM by Paragon
Take off the jacket, loosen the tie, unbutton the collar, roll up the sleeves, etc. if you want to look casual.

Sweaters are for The Cosby Show. Thank you.

(On edit: I know it's cold. Therefore, most appearances are done indoors.)

1. Do you know how damn cold it is in NH right now?
The wind chill is like 20 something below. It's freaking cold! I imagine Iowa is pretty cold too. Sweaters are appropriate when it's cold.

3. When I first went to Iowa one January, the wind chill was
40 degrees below zero. There were a couple of feet of snow outside. It was cold outside, inside, and everywhere.

2. What about the deep freeze going on?
I'm wearing a sweater right now and I'm not on the Cosby show. :)

There is a practical matter of being cold. I'd rather the candidates stay well with a nice warm sweater.

The rest of it is just media hype.

5. The Dowdisation of politics
Can we stop talking about what the candidates are wearing? Its irrelevancies like these that keeps idiots like Dowd and Tweety in business.

13. THANK YOU, Uzybone. I am so sick of hearing about
what everybody is wearing. Especially if it is something as normal as a sweater, for God's sake.

And although I think Laura Bush could choose more flattering clothing, I don't care what SHE wears, either, and I don't spend 5 seconds on the thought.

All this business about clothes is irrelevant, especially when we are talking about SWEATERS.
